The Port of Hull, situated in East Riding, is home to P&O Ferries who provide sailings from Hull to Rotterdam. The port can be accessed by road, rail, and on foot.
Disabled parking is available at the port, and a walkway connects the terminal to the ships, removing the need for bus transfers. Lifts and disabled facilities are available within the terminal buildings and on the ferries.

- At the time of booking, you may find it useful to enquire about disabled parking at the port and wheelchair access on board the ferry.
- Check your route at the docks is accessible if you have reduced mobility or are travelling with mobility equipment. This will ensure you arrive for your crossing in good time.

Special assistance
If you or someone you are travelling with has a disability, hidden disability or reduced mobility and require assistance within the Port of Hull, whilst boarding or on the ferry, you should ideally request this at the time of booking and no later than 48 hours before your journey.
This will allow P&O Ferries to ensure they can accommodate your needs ahead of your journey, such as parking close to lifts on vehicle ferries, and arranging meet and assist.

If you or your travel companion have a visual impairment, P&O staff onboard can provide an orientation tour or accompany passengers to different areas of the ship. Hearing loops are available from the ferry’s reception desk for anyone with a hearing impediment.
P&O Ferries can provide a Sunflower Lanyard for anyone with a hidden disability. A lanyard acts as a discreet sign for staff that additional support may be required. You can request a lanyard at check-in or at the reception desk onboard. You can also email to request one, at least 7 days in advance.
Travelling with mobility equipment
P&O Ferries can offer wheelchair assistance to and from the ships. If you require the use of a wheelchair on board, you can request this at check-in.
All ferries on the Hull to Rotterdam route are equipped with wheelchair-accessible lifts, accessible toilets, shopping and dining areas. For overnight sailings from Hull to Rotterdam, there is a range of wheelchair-accessible cabins.

Assistance dogs
If you are travelling with a registered assistance dog, you should notify the operator at the time of booking. Assistance dogs are entitled to free travel and have access to the passenger decks.
Assistance dogs must have the necessary paperwork when checking in at the port and must wear the correct harnesses and jackets at all times while travelling.
